About Chris
I was born in Lambeth, London in 1954. I first picked up a camera in the early 1980’s to capture family life and the world around me – I have never put it down.
I have a deep passion and respect for the photographic process, believing that it helps us document our emotional and physical worlds in a way that brings us all closer together. The lens brings an inescapable authenticity, which is often in short supply in modern life.
In a world where we do more and see less, the lens and digital image is our hope for stopping, looking, and understanding a world often rushing past us. The image captures a moment that often lights our lives and challenges our beliefs. It always creates a reaction in the moment – the place that many of us spend less time in a fast-moving world.
I volunteer my time for charitable work and undertake commissions that strengthen our sense of community and bring people together. All monies are donated to charity.

Photographing for charity
I offer my time and photography expertise to help good causes. I’m able to help document day-to-day life in your charity, capture your wedding day or provide photographs for your business. 100% of the proceeds are donated to charity.
What is Clicking for Charity?
I also use my photography skills to generate money for charities. I call it ‘clicking for charity’. The simplicity is that I take commissions for photographic work – it could be family portraits, weddings, small businesses refreshing their websites, charity events, the list goes on. In return folks donate to my Marie Curie just giving page. 100% of the donation goes to Marie Curie. If folks prefer to donate to a different charity, we can fix that too.
