About Chris

I was born in Lambeth, London in 1954. I first picked up a camera in the early 1980’s to capture family life and the world around me – I have never put it down.

I have a deep passion and respect for the photographic process, believing it helps us document our emotional and physical worlds in a way that brings us all closer together. The lens brings an inescapable authenticity, which is often in short supply in modern life.

In a world where we do more and see less, the lens and digital image is our hope for stopping, looking and understanding a world often rushing past us. The image captures a moment that often lights our lives, and challenges our beliefs. It always creates a reaction in the moment – the place that many of us spend less time in a fast moving world.

I volunteer my time for charitable work and undertake commissions that strengthen our sense of community and bring people together. All monies are donated to charity.

Please contact me if you have a commission you would like to discuss. Thank you for visiting the site.
